Fifth Annual Design Serenade

Design Serenade is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a move from Kew and a new name. Design Serenade opens in Parkville for 2 days from 18 August 2007.

The Design Serenade concept sees leading interior, floral and event designers, artists and landscape architects invited to create a spectacular transformation within a historic mansion. Inspire your senses with the visual delights of the transformed mansion, the sound of live classical and chamber music performances, the smell of flowers and the warm winter fare at the cafe.

Formerly known as Floral Serenade the name change reflects the design focus in both interior and floral design. Design Serenade is an eagerly anticipated lifestyle event for inspiration in the home and garden.

... an extravaganza of interior and floral design ...

On Show, Herald Sun, July 05

The stunning mansion at the Treacy Conference Centre will receive the Design Serenade touch. In 1873 the original occupant of the house, Mr Richard Gibson could watch over the common which today is Royal Park. This August join us to celebrate a stylish and inspirational transformation of his home with both traditional and contemporary designs. We are most grateful to the Christian Brothers and the Treacy Conference Centre who have generously allowed the Treacy Conference Centre to be transformed for this event.

Design Serenade is hosted by Sacred Heart Primary School Kew
